Can Essential Oils and Vitamin C Improve Your Skin Care and Health?

I get the struggles of dealing with skin issues, having battled acne as a teenager and into adulthood. I've tried countless acne products, including the infamous Norelco Complexion Plus face scrubber, not realizing that over-washing, over-scrubbing, and over-applying Sea Breeze astringent could worsen things. As I got older, I developed Rosacea Sub 2, which causes facial redness, flushing, papules, and pustules. Rosacea Sub 4 affects the eyes with redness, burning, itching, and an uncomfortable, gritty sensation. Dealing with menopause-related dryness, loss of elasticity, and pigmentation issues can really add to the challenges.

I've learned that stress, environmental factors, food, emotional triggers, and gut health all play a role in Rosacea flare-ups. Along my wellness journey, I've discovered the incredible benefits of essential oils, plant-based ingredients, and daily self-care. Through trial and error, I have found that Helichrysum, Neroli, and Roman Chamomile essential oils are incredibly calming and soothing for my sensitive skin and help to prevent and ease rosacea flare-ups. The time-respected oil cleansing method, with added Vitamin C and Immortelle facial and eye serums and good self-care practices, has worked wonders for my skin. While I still have occasional rosacea flare-ups, they are nothing compared to what I’ve endured over the years.
